The shoe museum is situated in the middle of the Feria Internacional del Calzado e Industrias Afines (FICIA) (International Shoe and Related Industry Fair). It was opened in 1999 by HRH Princess Elena and it is the most comprehensive of its type in Europe. Its 2.000 m2 house the best shoe collections in the world, artisanal works, unique pieces, designs and manufacture processes, etc., that characterize an essential part of the shoe industry of our city.
