Crater Lake , Klamath County , OR , United States ,
Visibility was ruined by nearby wild fires. But imagine sailing the crater of a dormant volcano late in August, in the deepest lake in the US that is 6,200 feet above sea level, surrounded by a rim that is up to 8,000 feel above sea level, and discovering along the way waterfalls, snow at the foothills of the lake, numerous rock formations and another volcano with its own crater (Wizard Island). This tour starts at the Cettwood Trail, about 700 feet above the lake, to an unforgettable journey.
