24/11/2015Nice pano! It's been a few years since I was here, but I've eaten at a restaurant here that I heard burned down. It was hard to beat the freshness of the fish there, since most of it came straight off the fishing boats docked here!

24/11/2015Oh and another fun fact my friends from the area told me...Calabash is also famous for bank robberies, since it's one of the few places with a bank RIGHT next to a state line and the ocean. Apparently robbers rob the bank, run across to South Carolina to confuse law enforcement, and then jump on a boat to escape...so the bank there has been robbed quite a bit!
