Thousands of years of bubbling hot water have created the travertine hill today known as Mammoth Hot Springs. As the travertine (a form of limestone) is deposited, hot springs shift from place to place and in and out of existence. These changes happen over decades, years, or even days, making Mammoth Hot Springs a different place with each visit. The scenes in this tour were shot on July 10, 2015.
