21/07/2015How did you do this? Pole and nothing else?
Jaime Brotons PanoramicasAereas.es
21/07/2015Leszek Cuper: This is with a NN Pole2, 6 meters above the ground, i use to shot this kind of panos with a D800E and 10,5/2,8 works really well, but this time i was travelling light with a old D5100 and Sigma 8/3,5 so i had to shot at f5,6 and 1/8s
Jaime Brotons PanoramicasAereas.es
21/07/2015Leszek Cuper: if you are asking if i used a tripod adapter or anything to hold the pole... i used it handheld at 1/8s but y have others at 1/4s, all my night pole panoramas are handheld
Nick Hobgood
22/07/2015So crisp for handheld pole and slow shutters. Did you use noise reduction at all ? If so, what are you using to get such nice results ? Awesome timing on the sky, it is a very nice color. How do you shoot the nadir with a pole ?
Jaime Brotons PanoramicasAereas.es
22/07/2015Nick Hobgood: No noise reduction, just keep iso as low as you can, for the sky it was a bit late, i had to push it, and the nadir is captured with pole handheld at 45º... more than one photo at each position to select the best one
Zeljko Soletic
22/07/2015Excellent night pole pano at the best time! How do you level this pole, do you use bulblevel? And why you do not use pitch variation for nadir?
Jaime Brotons PanoramicasAereas.es
22/07/2015Zeljko Soletic: Thanks, i use the R1 at -15º, i could just clone the little nadir, but i prefer to use a nadir image because the edge quality of fisheyes is quite low, more with a suboptimal f-stop
