Potro Square is one of the most famous squares in the city of Cordoba (Spain), located in the district of San Francisco-Ribera. In the center of the square is the eponymous fountain, built in 1577. It is crowned with a small statue of a standing colt supporting a coat of arms representing the coat of arms of Cordoba. There is also the famous Auberge du Poulain, mentioned by Cervantes in Don Quixote, 1 the Cordoba Museum of Fine Arts and the July Rosemary Museum in Torres.
